Dr Katherine Salter

Dr Katherine Salter is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a focus on delivering holistic healthcare, she supports individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Salter is committed to fostering strong, trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and reassured during every consultation.

Dr Salter completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science before pursuing her medical education. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Sydney in 2007. Demonstrating her commitment to the highest standards of family medicine, she attained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019. In addition to her clinical practice, she contributes to the education of future medical professionals as an Associate Tutor of medical students at Monash University.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Salter enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has developed particular clinical interests in maternal and child health, mental health, and aged care, which includes visiting local aged care facilities.
