Dr Katherine Geddes

Dr Katherine Geddes is a dedicated General Practitioner and Medical Oncologist who provides compassionate, patient-centred cancer care. With a clinical focus on oncology, she is committed to delivering personalised treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual. Dr Geddes believes in empowering her patients through clear communication and collaborative decision-making, ensuring they feel supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Her primary areas of clinical interest include the management and treatment of breast cancer, as well as upper and lower gastrointestinal cancers. Dr Geddes approaches oncology with a holistic perspective, focusing not only on the medical aspects of cancer therapy but also on the overall well-being and quality of life of her patients. Dr Geddes completed her medical degree at Monash University, graduating in 2005. She went on to undertake extensive postgraduate training, completing her basic physician training and advanced training in medical oncology. She holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research. To remain at the forefront of her field, Dr Geddes maintains active memberships with several prestigious professional organisations, including the Medical Oncology Group of Australia, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the European Society of Medical Oncology, the Australasian Gastrointestinal Trials Group, and Breast Cancer Trials.
