She also possesses deep expertise in complex autoimmune disorders, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus, as well as vasculitis, osteoarthritis, tendinopathies, crystal arthritis, osteoporosis, and chronic back pain.

Dr Franklyn completed her medical degree at a leading Australian university, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
