Dr Kaitlin McKinlay

Dr Kaitlin McKinlay is a dedicated General Practitioner who is passionate about delivering comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, working closely with individuals and families to support their long-term health and well-being. With a compassionate and reassuring approach, Dr McKinlay focuses on understanding each patient's unique needs to provide tailored, evidence-based medical care.

Dr McKinlay completed her Bachelor of Biomedical Science before pursuing her medical training, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Deakin University. Committed to continuous professional development, she has achieved a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. To further enhance her clinical expertise, she has also completed a Diploma in Child Health and a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine.

In her clinical practice, Dr McKinlay has developed a strong focus on several key areas of medicine. Her clinical interests include chronic disease management, particularly the care of patients living with heart failure and diabetes. She is also highly skilled in paediatrics and child health, as well as palliative care, ensuring that patients of all ages receive supportive and high-quality medical attention.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr McKinlay enjoys spending quality time with her husband, her children, and her two Ragdoll cats. She is also passionate about reading, creative writing, staying active through gym sessions and Pilates, and travelling to far-away destinations.
