Dr Justine Birchall

Dr Justine Birchall is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care across all stages of life. With a deep commitment to family medicine, she enjoys supporting patients from preconception and birth through to the final stages of life. Dr Birchall is highly regarded for her warm, conscientious approach, working collaboratively with patients and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr Birchall graduated from the University of Melbourne Medical School in 1993, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). To broaden her clinical expertise, she undertook extensive training at a regional hospital, where she completed a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She subsequently completed her General Practice Training Programme across several regional Victorian towns. Dr Birchall is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Throughout her career, Dr Birchall has maintained a broad interest in all aspects of general practice. She has a strong focus on preventative health care, with particular expertise in immunisation, nutrition, cancer screening, and the prevention of cardiovascular disease. Additionally, she has completed advanced training to support patients experiencing mental health illnesses. Dr Birchall also holds a keen interest in metabolic health, focusing on insulin resistance and therapeutic carbohydrate restriction to help patients manage chronic conditions through lifestyle and dietary interventions.
