Dr Justin Edwards

Dr Justin Edwards is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical focus, he supports individuals and families through all stages of life, ensuring that each patient receives personalised attention tailored to their unique health needs. Dr Edwards completed his foundational studies at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 2002. He then pursued his medical training at Griffith University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2009. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, he achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017. To further enhance his clinical capabilities, he has also completed advanced training, obtaining an Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and an Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy.

Throughout his career, Dr Edwards has gained diverse experience across multiple medical fields, including Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Sports Medicine. This versatile background enables him to manage a wide range of clinical scenarios, from acute injury management to preventative health strategies. He has a particular interest in skin cancer prevention and treatment, women's health, and pregnancy shared care. Additionally, he is highly skilled in performing minor procedures, such as skin and soft tissue lesion removals, as well as the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants.
