Dr Julia Mary Chan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner based in Adelaide, Australia. With a strong clinical focus on maternal and child health, Dr Mary Chan has developed significant expertise in antenatal and postnatal care, including active participation in Obstetric Shared Care. She is particularly interested in paediatrics and breastfeeding medicine, offering specialised support for parents and infants. Her clinical work includes addressing complex breastfeeding issues, maternal health, sleep and settling concerns, and conducting thorough infant assessments for growth concerns, irritability, unsettled behaviour, and oral issues.

Dr Mary Chan completed her medical degree with honours, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS (Hons)). She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and has furthered her training by completing a Diploma of Child Health (DCH). Recognised for her expertise in lactation and infant feeding, she is a certified International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
