Dr Joyce Anna Kant

Dr Joyce Anna Kant is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a focus on promoting long-term health and well-being, she supports individuals and families through all stages of life. Dr Kant is known for her reassuring and professional approach, ensuring that every patient feels heard and receives personalised medical attention tailored to their unique needs.

While highly skilled in all aspects of routine General Practice, Dr Kant has a particular passion for women's and children's health. Her clinical expertise encompasses pre- and post-pregnancy care, including accredited antenatal shared care, as well as medical terminations of pregnancy and contraceptive procedures such as Implanon insertion and removal. She is also experienced in delivering essential family medicine services, including ear syringing and travel vaccinations, such as yellow fever immunisation.

Dr Kant completed her medical training at the University of Melbourne, qualifying with a Doctor of Medicine in 2017. To deepen her clinical knowledge, she went on to obtain a Certificate of Women's Health from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She also holds an additional qualification in paediatric medicine, having completed the Sydney Child Health Programme. Prior to entering General Practice, she gained valuable clinical experience working across various hospitals and clinics in Melbourne.
