Dr Jonathan Cho

Dr Jonathan Cho is a urologist practising at South Terrace Urology and the Royal Adelaide Hospital, with expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of urological conditions. He is experienced in treating urological cancers, kidney stones, urinary tract symptoms, and infections, providing patient-focused care supported by the latest surgical and medical approaches.

Jonathan completed his medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, at the University of Queensland in 2007 after first completing a Bachelor of Medical Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology at Flinders University in 2003. He later completed his specialist Urological training across South Australia and Queensland before being awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2018.

Following his specialist training, Jonathan undertook an additional Fellowship year at the Royal Adelaide Hospital focused on robotic surgery, further developing his expertise in advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques. Alongside his clinical practice, he has a strong interest in teaching and mentoring junior doctors and remains actively involved in clinical research to support ongoing advances in urological care.
