Dr Jon-Paul Chamoun

Dr Jon-Paul Chamoun is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. He believes in building strong relationships with his patients based on trust and mutual respect, ensuring that every individual feels heard and supported. With a broad clinical focus, Dr Chamoun is passionate about preventative health, chronic disease management, and delivering comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages.

Dr Chamoun completed his Bachelor of Science before going on to graduate with Honours from the University of Melbourne Medical School with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2012. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Additionally, he has pursued advanced training in skin health, holding an Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer from the Australian College of Dermatology.

Before transitioning to General Practice, Dr Chamoun gained extensive clinical experience working in adult specialist medicine within major metropolitan hospitals and various healthcare settings across Australia. This diverse background has equipped him with a deep understanding of complex medical conditions. His clinical interests are wide-ranging and include geriatric medicine, sexual health, and adult chronic disease management. He also has a strong focus on skin cancer medicine, specialising in dermoscopy, melanoma prevention, and minor surgical procedures.
