Dr John Malios

Dr John Malios is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad scope of practice, he is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families within the community. Dr Malios delivers a wide range of primary healthcare services, focusing on preventative medicine, health education, and the management of chronic conditions to ensure his patients achieve optimal health outcomes.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr Malios has developed several key areas of clinical interest. He possesses extensive expertise in Occupational Health and is a highly regarded Medico-Legal Examiner, frequently contributing his knowledge to medical and legal training programmes. Additionally, he has a long-standing interest in thalassaemia and haemoglobinopathies. He has been actively involved in promoting public awareness, patient screening, and clinical counselling for these blood disorders, helping to shape preventative healthcare strategies.

Dr Malios completed his medical education at Monash University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Member of the Australian College of Legal Medicine. Demonstrating his ongoing commitment to the medical profession, he holds life memberships with both the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
