Dr John Kirmos

Dr John Kirmos is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, he is committed to supporting individuals and families through all stages of their health journeys. Dr Kirmos believes in fostering strong doctor-patient relationships built on trust, clear communication, and mutual respect, ensuring that every patient feels heard and well-supported.

Throughout his career, Dr Kirmos has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He specialises in chronic disease management, helping patients navigate long-term health conditions with tailored care plans. Additionally, he has a strong focus on paediatrics, providing compassionate medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. His expertise also extends to sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine, where he assists patients in managing and recovering from physical injuries and conditions.

Dr Kirmos completed his medical education at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1985. He holds a Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DipRACOG) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). These qualifications reflect his rigorous training and ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of General Practice.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Kirmos is fluent in both English and Greek, allowing him to effectively communicate with and support a diverse patient demographic. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, travelling, exploring French culture, and keeping active. He is also an avid photographer and a passionate supporter of the Collingwood Football Club.
