Dr Ung completed her medical degree at the University of Adelaide, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2008. Following her graduation, she undertook extensive clinical training at a major metropolitan hospital in Adelaide, gaining valuable experience across diverse medical fields, including general medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, and the stroke unit. She subsequently achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her advanced training and expertise in comprehensive family medicine.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Ung enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has a particular interest in preventative health, working proactively with patients to manage chronic conditions and promote overall well-being.
