Dr Joanne O'Reilly

Dr Joanne O'Reilly is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a warm and reassuring approach, she enjoys the diverse range of health challenges that General Practice presents, ensuring that patients of all ages receive personalised and high-quality medical attention. Her clinical practice is characterised by a strong focus on preventative health and holistic family medicine.

Dr O'Reilly completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2002. Following her graduation, she gained valuable clinical experience working at a major hospital in South Brisbane before transitioning into General Practice. She achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2008. In addition to her clinical work, Dr O'Reilly is actively involved in medical education, serving as a Senior Lecturer and Academic Coordinator at a prominent university, where she helps shape the next generation of medical professionals. She is also an accredited General Practice Registrar supervisor, guiding junior colleagues through their postgraduate training.

As an experienced General Practitioner, Dr O'Reilly offers a broad spectrum of primary care services. She has a particular interest in family medicine and preventative healthcare, working closely with patients to manage chronic conditions and promote long-term well-being. Additionally, she is fully trained and certified in specialised procedures, including Implanon contraceptive insertions and removals. Her dual role as a Clinician and Educator ensures she remains at the forefront of evidence-based medical practices, bringing the latest clinical insights to her patients.
