Dr Joanna Ng

Dr Joanna Ng is a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive mental health care to her patients. She is deeply inspired by the intricacies of human relationships and how they shape individual well-being. As advances in the field of Psychiatry continue to deepen our understanding of mental health, Dr Ng remains committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care that supports her patients on their journey towards recovery and improved quality of life.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Ng specialises in general adult psychiatry and young adult psychiatry. She has a particular interest in women's mental health, addressing the unique psychological challenges faced by women across different stages of life. Additionally, her expertise extends to consultation-liaison psychiatry, which focuses on the interface between physical and mental health, as well as advanced therapeutic interventions such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

Dr Ng completed her medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2014. Committed to the highest standards of psychiatric practice, she underwent extensive specialist training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2022.
