Dr Jimmy Tseng

Dr Jimmy Tseng is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to the community of Shepparton, Australia. With a strong clinical background in paediatric emergency medicine, Dr Tseng is deeply passionate about supporting the health and well-being of children and adolescents. His practice encompasses a broad range of family medicine, with particular expertise in family planning, sexual and reproductive health, and the management of chronic conditions such as asthma. He is committed to delivering personalised healthcare that addresses the unique needs of every patient, from young children to adults.

Dr Tseng completed his Bachelor of Medical Science in 2008 and his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2011, both at the University of Melbourne. He furthered his postgraduate training with a Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy in 2012 and later obtained a Graduate Certificate in University Teaching in 2024. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Tseng serves as a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Rural Health at the University of Melbourne, where he contributes to the education of future medical professionals and conducts vital research into adolescent asthma management.

Driven by a desire to improve healthcare delivery, Dr Tseng actively integrates clinical research and modern technology into his daily practice. He has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of asthma, running dedicated clinics to ensure patients have up-to-date, effective care plans. Dr Tseng is also skilled in performing specialised clinical procedures, including iron, Aclasta, and Vyepti infusions, as well as Mirena and copper intrauterine device (IUD) insertions. He also provides supportive services for the medical termination of pregnancies. Outside of his direct clinical work, he enjoys developing digital applications and technologies designed to streamline and enhance targeted healthcare delivery.
