Dr Jillian Frances Gallagher

Dr Jillian Frances Gallagher is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare to patients of all ages and backgrounds. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on building long-term therapeutic relationships to support her patients' ongoing health journeys. She welcomes individuals of all genders and ages, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone who seeks her care.

In addition to general family medicine, Dr Frances Gallagher has a strong clinical focus on sexual health, preventative medicine, and LGBTQI+ health. She is highly experienced in delivering gender-affirming care and is a certified HIV S100 Prescriber, enabling her to manage HIV medicine and prescribe Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). Her expertise also extends to contraceptive health, where she holds certification to perform Implanon contraceptive insertions, and she is passionate about empowering patients through proactive health education and preventative care.

Dr Frances Gallagher completed her primary medical training in the United Kingdom, earning her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). After relocating to Australia, she attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She has also completed the National Certificate in Sexual Health to further her clinical expertise. Dr Frances Gallagher is an active member of the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health (AusPATH), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care within gender-diverse and sexual health medicine.
