About Dr Jill O'Donnell
Dr Jill O’Donnell is a dual-trained vascular and endovascular surgeon, qualified in both Ireland and Australia. She completed her medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and went on to earn a Master of Surgery from the National University of Ireland. Following her initial surgical training, she gained her Irish and UK fellowship in Vascular and General Surgery (FRCSI) in 2011. She then undertook advanced vascular fellowships at major Australian centres, including Westmead Hospital, St George Hospital, and John Hunter Hospital. In 2015, she achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Vascular Surgery.
Since relocating to the Sunshine Coast in 2016, Dr O’Donnell has played a key role in developing vascular services in the region. As Clinical Director of Vascular Surgery, she led the transition to electronic medical records, introduced a hybrid theatre, and established a vascular ultrasound laboratory. Passionate about education and research, she contributes to surgical examinations with the Royal College of Surgeons and reviews for Vascular Journal. She also collaborates with the VasoActive research group at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Dr O’Donnell is committed to personalised, evidence-based care and sees patients across several private and public facilities on the Sunshine Coast.

Poor Circulation and pain in the lower legs. 1 leg has been attended to with good results, and due for further treatment to the other leg hopefully with the same successful results
