Dr Jessica Hamlyn

Dr Jessica Hamlyn is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to providing high-quality, individualised care to patients of all ages, from infancy to advanced age. With a strong belief in holistic medicine, she focuses on delivering comprehensive family healthcare that addresses both the physical and emotional well-being of her patients. General Practice has always been Dr Hamlyn's chosen medical speciality, and she brings enthusiasm and a patient-centred approach to her daily practice.

Dr Hamlyn graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Griffith University in 2010. Following her graduation, she completed her residency in Brisbane, gaining invaluable experience by rotating through all major medical specialities. During this formative period, she spent a significant amount of time working in emergency medicine, paediatrics, and inpatient mental health services. To further her clinical expertise, she obtained a Diploma of Child Health and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Throughout her career, Dr Hamlyn has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. She is particularly passionate about women's health, pregnancy, and antenatal care, as well as child and adolescent health. Her extensive training also enables her to provide robust support in mental health and the management and prevention of chronic diseases. As a mother herself, Dr Hamlyn understands the unique challenges of balancing family life and health, allowing her to connect deeply with her patients and offer highly empathetic, practical medical guidance.
