Dr Jennifer Dancer

Dr Jennifer Dancer is a highly dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive mental health care. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on understanding each individual's unique circumstances to deliver tailored therapeutic interventions. Dr Dancer is committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and reassuring environment where patients feel heard and empowered throughout their recovery journey.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of mental health conditions, with a particular focus on anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. Dr Dancer also has extensive experience in managing obsessive-compulsive disorders, personality disorders, and complex trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). To support her patients, she utilises evidence-based psychological treatments, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and supportive psychotherapy.

Dr Dancer completed her medical education, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) (BSc (Med)). She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), which is the premier professional organisation for Psychiatrists in Australia and New Zealand.
