Dr Jee Yong Kim

Dr Jee Yong Kim is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-focused care. He thoroughly enjoys the diverse nature of general practice and is passionate about supporting patients of all ages through every stage of their health journey. With an approach centred on active listening and clear communication, Dr Kim ensures that his patients feel fully supported, informed, and empowered to make proactive decisions regarding their long-term well-being.

Before focusing on general practice, Dr Kim gained extensive and valuable hospital experience across a wide range of medical specialities. This broad clinical background includes work in paediatrics, mental health, emergency medicine, orthopaedics, general surgery, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), geriatrics, palliative care, and obstetrics and gynaecology. This diverse foundation allows him to confidently manage both acute and chronic conditions, with particular clinical interests in paediatric medicine, mental health, men's health, chronic disease management, and geriatric medicine.

Dr Kim completed his medical studies at the University of Queensland. Committed to advancing his knowledge in broader healthcare systems, he also obtained a Master of Public Health with a focus on infectious diseases control. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Kim is deeply involved in medical education and public health. He actively contributes to the profession as an Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), where he is involved in fellowship examinations and assessment development.
