Dr Jawaria Avais

Dr Jawaria Avais is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, family-centred care to patients of all ages. Dr Avais is committed to preventative healthcare, helping patients manage their health proactively through education and personalised treatment plans.

Dr Avais completed her medical education at the University of the Punjab, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2004. To further enhance her clinical expertise, she obtained a Diploma of Dermatology (Dip Derm). She is also a recognised Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general practice medicine in Australia.

Throughout her career, Dr Avais has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's health, children's health, and the care of older people. She is highly skilled in managing chronic diseases, such as diabetes, and provides comprehensive antenatal care, mental health support, and men's health services. In addition to general consultations, she performs various clinical procedures, including Pap smears, Implanon insertion and removal, and minor surgical procedures.
