Dr Jaspreet Singh

Dr Jaspreet Singh is a highly dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive, evidence-based mental health care. He is committed to delivering individualised treatment plans that help patients understand their inner strengths and achieve long-term recovery. Dr Singh works collaboratively with General Practitioners and allied health professionals to ensure a holistic and supportive approach to patient care, creating a safe and neutral space for individuals to discuss their concerns.

Dr Singh completed his primary medical education, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He went on to pursue postgraduate training in Psychiatry at a prestigious tertiary centre of excellence in India. Upon relocating to Australia, he achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). He is registered as a specialist Psychiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). His academic and clinical contributions have been recognised internationally, including receiving the World Psychiatric Association Young Scientist Award and a sponsored membership with the International Society for Bipolar Disorders.

Throughout his career, Dr Singh has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on complex mood disorders and trauma. He specialises in Adult Psychiatry, managing conditions such as depressive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and psychotic disorders. He has a deep interest in the management of complicated bipolar disorder, dual diagnosis, and the complex overlap between personality and mental illness. Additionally, Dr Singh is experienced in conducting work-related consultations and providing cross-cultural psychiatric care to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
