Dr Japinder Khosa

Dr Japinder Khosa is a Paediatric Surgeon and Paediatric Urologist in Western Australia, caring for patients from the newborn period through to 16 years of age. Her work covers general paediatric surgery and conditions affecting the kidneys, urinary tract, bladder and genital development. She treats conditions including inguinal and umbilical hernias, dermoid cysts, skin lesions, undescended testes, hypospadias, foreskin concerns, hydronephrosis, vesicoureteric reflux, urinary tract infections and urinary incontinence. She also provides antenatal counselling when a paediatric surgical or urological condition has been identified before birth.

Her specialist training in paediatric surgery and urology included experience at the Royal Children’s Hospitals in Brisbane and Melbourne before she moved to Perth. More recently, Dr Khosa spent 18 months working at Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Danville, Pennsylvania, during a professional sabbatical.

Her surgical practice includes both open and laparoscopic procedures, and she currently operates at Perth Children’s Hospital and Joondalup Hospital. She also consults families in Joondalup, Subiaco, Murdoch, Geraldton and regional Western Australia.
