Dr Jane Prosser

Dr Jane Prosser is a highly accomplished Consultant Neurologist who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of neurological conditions. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, she specialises in general neurology while maintaining dedicated clinical interests in stroke, vascular neurology, headache and migraine disorders, and cognitive conditions. Dr Prosser is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care, ensuring that each patient receives a tailored treatment plan designed to optimise their neurological health and overall well-being.

Dr Prosser completed her medical degree with honours, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She subsequently undertook her specialist neurology training at leading tertiary referral hospitals in Sydney. To further her expertise, she was awarded a prestigious fellowship in neurology at a world-renowned neurological institution in London, United Kingdom, where she focused on headache disorders. Dr Prosser also completed a specialised stroke research fellowship at a prominent university and hospital in Melbourne, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) that utilised advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to investigate the complex relationship between stroke and cardiovascular health.

As a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), Dr Prosser is highly regarded within the medical community.
