Dr Jan Bernard Bulten, affectionately known to his patients as Dr Bertel Bulten, is a dedicated and highly compassionate General Practitioner. He is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Believing that every patient deserves an approach built on trust and respect, Dr Bernard Bulten delivers holistic medical care across a broad spectrum of general practice.

Dr Bernard Bulten completed his medical training in the Netherlands, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree and successfully managed his own private practice before relocating to Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

With a diverse clinical background, Dr Bernard Bulten has a strong interest in family medicine, men's health, and mental health. His practice encompasses adolescent and child health, travel medicine, and sexual health, including procedures such as Implanon insertion and removal. He is also experienced in performing minor surgical procedures, such as the excision of skin lesions. Dr Bernard Bulten is deeply committed to supporting vulnerable populations, with extensive experience in refugee, migrant, and Aboriginal health, as well as addiction medicine through the Community Programme for Opioid Pharmacotherapy (C-POP).
