He holds several advanced postgraduate qualifications, including a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG), and credentials from the Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA).
