Dr James Eadie

Dr James Eadie is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to his patients. Dr Eadie began his medical career after completing his medical degree, initially practising as a Resident Medical Officer in Brisbane. He went on to undertake extensive postgraduate training, serving as a Registrar in emergency medicine, obstetrics, and anaesthetics across several regional and metropolitan hospitals. Dr Eadie has held significant leadership roles throughout his career, including serving as a Medical Superintendent and a Medical Supervisor at regional hospitals. He has also worked extensively as a Visiting Medical Officer in anaesthetics and obstetrics, alongside undertaking periodic locum positions in rural communities.

Dr Eadie graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland in 1987. He holds several advanced postgraduate qualifications, including a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG), and credentials from the Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA). These qualifications reflect his advanced training and expertise in rural generalism, procedural medicine, and specialised patient care.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr Eadie leads an active lifestyle and enjoys a variety of outdoor pursuits. He is an avid runner and cyclist, and also enjoys playing tennis, bushwalking, and gardening.
