Dr Ian Stokes

Dr Ian Stokes is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages. With a patient-centred approach, he is committed to delivering high-quality medical care that supports the long-term well-being of his patients. Dr Stokes focuses on building strong, trusting relationships with those under his care, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their health journeys.

Dr Stokes began his academic journey by completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne. He then pursued his medical training at Flinders University in Adelaide, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2000. Following his graduation, he spent several years working primarily in paediatrics before commencing his formal General Practice training in 2014. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.

Throughout his career, Dr Stokes has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He has a particular focus on child and adolescent health, drawing on his extensive background in paediatrics to provide gentle and expert care for younger patients. Additionally, he is highly experienced in men's health and is passionate about preventative health, working proactively with patients to establish healthy foundations and prevent future medical issues.
