Dr Ian Broom

Dr Ian Broom is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a clinical focus that spans all aspects of family medicine, Dr Broom is particularly passionate about preventative health and men's health. He is committed to delivering reassuring and high-quality medical care, helping patients manage their long-term health outcomes and navigate their wellness journeys with confidence.

Dr Broom began his academic journey in Scotland, graduating with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Anatomy and Experimental Pathology from the University of St Andrews in 1981. He then pursued his medical training in Wales, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) from the Welsh National School of Medicine in Cardiff in 1984. To further his clinical expertise, he obtained a Diploma in Anaesthetics in the United Kingdom and achieved membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners in London.

Following his graduation, Dr Broom gained extensive clinical experience working within the health service in the United Kingdom, undertaking various hospital posts in casualty, general medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics, and anaesthetics. After relocating to Australia, he completed further hospital appointments before transitioning into General Practice. His diverse background allows him to offer a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring that every individual receives thorough and personalised attention.
