Dr Black completed his medical studies at Griffith University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Following his graduation, he gained extensive clinical experience working across various hospitals in Queensland, including a major hospital on the Gold Coast. In 2015, he achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his high standard of clinical expertise and dedication to the field of General Practice.

In his daily practice, Dr Black enjoys the diverse nature of family medicine. He has developed particular clinical interests in chronic disease management, aged care, men's health, and paediatric medicine.
