I would say to anyone undergoing this procedure to take the advice of the staff and use pain relief offered in the first 24-48 hours post surgery. I think my recovery would have been better had I got on top of the pain initially. Don’t be a hero.
Explained the procedure in detail and the professional way my surgery went was excellent
More involved and demanding than I expected partly because of urology issues at night. Rehab was very good but the process causes stress on the other knee which I had not anticipated. This is now an unknown factor.
I had a great experience with Huw as my surgeon. Great bedside manner very kind and understanding!
Was not looking forward to my full knee but could not be happier the way it all turned out. Mr Williams has done a fantastic job, any pain was less than I imagined & my recovery was a lot quicker than I thought was walking without the aid of crutches after 2 & a bit weeks. 100% satisfied & looking forward to getting my other knee done.
Dr Williams was very good at explaining the procedure and what to expect regarding recovery and hospital stay. I found Dr Williams very approachable and he was happy to answer all my questions. This helped to alleviate some of my fears and apprehension. I felt that Dr Williams instilled a sense of professionalism and knowledge which found me leaving the consult with no doubt but to proceed. The whole experience from the initial phone call with Tania right through the procedure, hospital stay and my recovery at home was seamless and problem free.
