Dr Htun Lin Aung

Dr Htun Lin Aung is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning multiple facets of medicine, Dr Aung is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families. Dr Aung completed his primary medical education at the Institute of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). After relocating to Australia, he pursued further postgraduate training to expand his clinical expertise. He earned a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney in 2011 and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2014. Driven by a keen interest in dermatological care, he also completed advanced studies through the Australian Institute of Dermatology, obtaining his Australian Dermatology Diploma in 2016.

Throughout his career, Dr Aung has gained extensive experience across diverse medical settings, including roles as a Resident Medical Officer and a Medical Registrar. His clinical background encompasses valuable work in Indigenous health, general medicine, and emergency medicine. He also undertook focused training in sexual health to further diversify his capabilities. Dr Aung has developed strong clinical interests in paediatric care, geriatric medicine, mental health, and chronic disease management. Additionally, he is highly skilled in dermatology, skin cancer assessments, and performing minor skin surgeries.
