Dr Hatish Jangwal is an Australian-trained General and Interventional Cardiologist with expertise in coronary artery disease, complex coronary intervention and cardiovascular imaging. He currently works across Sydney and regional New South Wales, including Macquarie Heart, Burwood Specialists, Bankstown Heart Clinic and Dubbo Base Hospital, with additional admitting rights at several private hospitals.

His practice covers coronary artery disease, chest pain assessment, myocardial ischaemia, valvular heart disease, hypertension and general cardiovascular medicine, with a strong procedural focus on coronary angiography, balloon angioplasty and coronary stenting. He is experienced in complex coronary interventions including left main PCI, chronic total occlusion procedures, rotational atherectomy and intravascular lithotripsy, together with the use of coronary physiology and intracoronary imaging to guide treatment. Most of his interventional procedures are performed through the radial artery approach.

Dr Jangwal is also skilled in a broad range of non-invasive cardiac investigations. His experience includes transthoracic echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, CT coronary angiography and Holter monitoring, allowing him to assess patients from initial diagnosis through to interventional treatment when required.

Dr Jangwal’s practice combines general cardiology, advanced coronary intervention and cardiac imaging, making him particularly suited to patients requiring assessment and treatment of coronary artery disease, complex calcified lesions, recurrent angina or valvular heart conditions. His work places particular emphasis on contemporary catheter-based techniques and image-guided coronary intervention.
