Dr Harry Gasper

Dr Harry Gasper is a dedicated Medical Oncologist who is deeply committed to providing comprehensive cancer care tailored to the individual needs of his patients and their families. He combines a thorough understanding of the latest advancements in oncology with a compassionate approach that recognises the profound impact a cancer diagnosis has on a person's life. By focusing on holistic patient outcomes, Dr Gasper ensures that those under his care receive both cutting-edge medical treatments and supportive, reassuring guidance throughout their therapeutic journey.

Dr Gasper completed his medical training at King's College London, graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery alongside a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiology. After relocating to Australia in 2013, he completed his advanced training and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2019, specialising in Oncology. He is actively involved in the wider oncology community, serving on the executive committee of the Queensland Consortium for Cancer Survivorship, on the board of the Hope Horizons Cancer Wellness Centre, and on the organising committee for the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia Annual Scientific Meeting.

Throughout his career, Dr Gasper has held significant leadership and research roles, including serving as a Clinical Director of Medical Oncology and working as a Clinical Research Fellow. He has contributed to award-winning research, published peer-reviewed papers, and served as a principal investigator on clinical trials. His clinical work is characterised by a strong focus on improving patient outcomes through innovative care models, such as tele-oncology, and active participation in statewide survivorship networks. Dr Gasper has extensive experience in managing a broad range of malignancies, with particular expertise in gastrointestinal, lung, and brain tumours.
