Dr Guirguis Salib

Dr Guirguis Salib is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Known warmly to many of his patients as Dr George Salib, he focuses on delivering the highest standard of medical management. Dr Salib is a strong believer in shared decision-making, actively collaborating with his patients to help them achieve and maintain optimal health and well-being.

Dr Salib obtained his primary medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and subsequently achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in South Australia. Before transitioning to his role as a General Practitioner in Australia, he gained extensive international experience, serving as a Consultant Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Surgeon in Alexandria, Egypt. This diverse surgical and specialist background provides him with a unique depth of clinical expertise that greatly benefits his patients.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr Salib possesses extensive experience across a wide range of medical fields. His clinical interests include chronic disease management, such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He is also highly proficient in family medicine, child health, men's and women's health, mental health, and preventative care, including vaccinations and travel medicine. Additionally, his surgical background equips him to perform skin check-ups, skin cancer management, and minor procedures such as skin excisions, flaps, and lump removals.
