Dr Grant Shepherd

Dr Grant Shepherd is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical focus, he supports individuals and families through all stages of life, delivering evidence-based medical guidance. Dr Shepherd prioritises building strong, trusting relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.

Dr Shepherd completed his medical degree at James Cook University, graduating in 2015. Following his university studies, he gained valuable clinical experience as a Junior Doctor on the Sunshine Coast before completing his specialist General Practice training in Southeast Queensland in 2021. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.

Throughout his career, Dr Shepherd has pursued additional training to expand his clinical capabilities. He has a strong interest in men's health, paediatric medicine, and chronic disease management, alongside veteran health. Additionally, he has undertaken further studies in obesity medicine and basic skin cancer treatments. Dr Shepherd is also highly skilled in performing specialised procedures, including ear suction under direct vision using an operating microscope.
