My first meeting with Glenn was a great experience, I feel very grateful that I was referred to him by my gastroenterologist last year, he was very thorough, also kind and helpful. He really cares about his patients and takes the time to listen. I would highly recommend Glenn to family or friends. Excellent experience and care also his staff were wonderful too. Thank you so much
A very friendly and talented surgeon who saved my life.
We were referred to Dr Glen Guerra by our haematologist for my daughter’s biopsy, and I can honestly say he is the best specialist I have ever met. Initially, we expected a simple explanation of the procedure when we visited him first, but Glen went far beyond that. He was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, professional, and approachable. He reviewed all of my daughter’s previous test results and took the time to explain everything thoughtfully, which left us feeling reassured and relieved. After the surgery, we saw him twice for stitch removal and biopsy results, and each visit only strengthened my impression of his excellence and kindness. When my daughter experienced a side effect from painkillers, I emailed him (it was late Sunday afternoon), unsure what to do. He called me back within an hour to guide us through it and such responsiveness and compassion are rare. A special thank you also to Nicole, the receptionist, for her kindness and support. Words cannot express our gratitude. As a side note, my sister passed away 30 years ago from rectal cancer, and I often think how different things might have been if we had known someone like Dr Glen then. Thank you so much Dr. Guerra! You truly made one of the most challenging periods so much easier for us.
Glen is an outstanding, experienced surgeon and an incredibly kind person. His personal experience of having had cancer contributes to his exemplary bedside manner. He’s easy to engage with and you will not feel rushed in your appointments leaving with all questions answered. I’ve had 3 procedures ranging from simple to complex with a terrific outcome. I felt reassured knowing I was being treated by such a skilled and compassionate person. I feel incredibly grateful to have been referred to him and he made a challenging time much less stressful.
Dr Guerra was accomodating, explaining in layman’s terms, about my condition and prospects for the future. I’ve seen him half a dozen times now, and not once have I been rushed or felt uncomfortable. I have nothing but praise for he and his staff, and feel I’m in the best of hands. Thankyou.
Professional, Caring , takes the time to listen to your concerns , charasmatic, and I would'nt want to see anybody else.
Glen is an outstanding operator (literally) and a credit to his field. Despite being under a heavy workload he is always friendly, informative, not rushed, and takes the time to provide comprehensive advice & guidance. He has made a difficult journey a lot more tolerable as a direct result of his 1st class care.
Glen is clear in his explanation, willing to explore and provide evidence on concepts that are brought to him. Doesn't matter what time of day or night, he is cheerful patient, thoughtful and concerned in an holistic manner. A consultation puts me at the centre of the conversation, and we progress at the pace of my understanding.
Patient, clear communicator who can explain unusual and complex issues, clearly and in every day language. Dr Glen has enormous patience, kindness, and is firm when there is a limit to the options, to ensure all the options are clearly understood. He seeks to ensure there is patient understanding, not just doctor telling.
