Dr Gilad Korman

Dr Gilad Korman is a highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrist who provides compassionate, patient-centred care across both public and private mental health settings. He adopts a humanistic and holistic approach to psychiatric practice, integrating evidence-based medical treatments with psychotherapy to support his patients' overall well-being. Dr Korman is dedicated to creating a safe, reassuring environment where individuals can address complex mental health challenges and work towards meaningful recovery.

With a diverse range of clinical interests, Dr Korman has extensive experience in supporting individuals facing end-of-life challenges and terminal illnesses. He has undertaken advanced training in addiction psychiatry and interpersonal group psychotherapy, allowing him to offer comprehensive care for substance use disorders and relational difficulties. Additionally, he is deeply involved in cutting-edge clinical research, having served as a Trial Therapist in pioneering studies exploring psychedelic-assisted therapy for depression and anxiety associated with life-threatening illnesses. He also provides specialised support to Australian Defence Force members and veterans.

Dr Korman completed his medical degree at Monash University, qualifying in 2012. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. To further enrich his clinical expertise, he has obtained a Master of Public Health, a Master of Psychiatry, and a Diploma of Child Health. He has also completed specialised training in Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy, which informs his holistic and somatic approach to mental health care.
