Dr Gary Tincknell

Dr Tincknell is a medical oncologist who is an active member of a multidisciplinary cancer care team that coordinates care for people with cancer. Dr Tincknell treats patients with genitourinary, upper gastrointestinal, colorectal, melanoma and brain cancers.

They are a principal investigator on several clinical trials, aiming to improve the survival and side effects of patients undergoing cancer treatments. Dr Tincknell is also a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Wollongong.

Dr Tincknell is a member of many professional societies including the Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Trials Group, Australian and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate cancer trials group, Medical Oncology Group of Australia and Clinical Oncology Society of Australia.
