Dr. Firdaus Bin Abd Rahim

Dr. Firdaus Bin Abd Rahim is an exceptional consultant with dual specialties in Cardiology and Internal Medicine, with over 27 years of experience. 

A graduate of the University of Adelaide, he currently provides excellent patient care across four clinics at Global Cardiology in Perth. Dr. Rahim is passionate about treating patients holistically, going the extra mile in diagnostic evaluation and management.

His clinical interests span:

• Chest pain assessment (Coronary artery disease, Pericarditis, Atypical non-cardiac chest pain) with in-house rapid Cardiac CT evaluation
• Heart failure
• Hypertension
• Preventative medicine for heart disease
• Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)/ Dysautonomia
• Syncope (fainting)/dizziness/palpitations

Dr. Rahim has also served as a Senior Lecturer and Head of Division in Cardiology and Internal Medicine at UPM. He is an active member of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ), the American College of Cardiology (ACC), and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
