Dr Fiona Wagg

Dr Fiona Wagg is a highly dedicated and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who provides expert mental health care to young people and their families. Having practised across Australia and the United Kingdom, she has established herself as a respected specialist and leader in the field of psychiatric medicine. Dr Wagg is deeply committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care, ensuring that infants, children, and adolescents receive the comprehensive support they need to thrive.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr Wagg has developed a diverse range of clinical interests within paediatric mental health. She specialises in infant mental health, eating disorders, and early onset psychosis, as well as complex neuropsychiatric and somatisation disorders. Additionally, she has extensive experience in inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry, alongside consultation and liaison child psychiatry, working collaboratively to address the intricate intersection of physical and mental health in young patients.

Dr Wagg obtained her primary medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and went on to complete rigorous specialist training in psychiatry. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and holds an advanced Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Alongside her clinical practice, she has contributed significantly to the sector as an Educator and clinical researcher, previously serving in key leadership roles, including Director of Advanced Training, to guide the training and development of future psychiatric professionals.
