Dr Fayaz Wani

Dr Fayaz Wani is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Wani completed his medical training at the University of Kashmir, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1995. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, he obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). To further his expertise in specialised areas of medicine, he earned a Diploma of Dermoscopy and a Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine from the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand, as well as a Certificate in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland. Additionally, he is Board Certified by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Dr Wani holds active professional memberships with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Skin Cancer College of Australia and New Zealand, and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

In addition to general family medicine, Dr Wani has developed significant clinical interests in skin cancer medicine and cosmetic dermatology. He is highly proficient in performing comprehensive skin checks, as well as the surgical removal of skin cancers, moles, and melanomas. His expertise extends to advanced laser skin surgeries and treatments, addressing concerns such as pigmentation, rosacea, acne, acne scars, spider veins, and hair removal. He also provides anti-ageing and anti-wrinkle treatments, alongside essential general practice procedures such as electrocardiography (ECG), Pap smears, Implanon insertion and removal, and pre-employment health checks.
