Dr Faizur Reza

Dr Faizur Reza is a highly skilled General and Laparoscopic Surgeon with extensive training and a strong focus on delivering safe, modern surgical care. He completed the Western Sydney Surgical Rotation, gaining broad clinical experience across major centres including Westmead, Blacktown and Nepean Hospitals.

He subsequently undertook a three-year fellowship, with two years in General Surgery at Auburn Hospital and a further year as a Clinical Research Fellow in Colorectal Surgery at Westmead Hospital. During this period, he was awarded the prestigious Johnson & Johnson Western Sydney Colorectal Research Fellowship. Alongside his clinical work, he also contributes to medical education as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame in Sydney.

Dr Reza has a particular interest in colorectal surgery in addition to his general and laparoscopic practice. He is committed to staying at the forefront of surgical innovation, continually updating his skills and techniques to ensure optimal outcomes for his patients.

He is known for his compassionate and patient-centred approach, providing personalised care from the initial consultation through to post-operative follow-up. He places strong emphasis on clear communication, taking time to explain diagnoses, treatment options and procedures thoroughly, while respecting each patient’s preferences and concerns.

Dr Reza consults in Bella Vista, Parramatta and Gregory Hills, and performs surgical procedures at several leading private hospitals in the region, including Lakeview Private Hospital in Norwest, Westmead Private Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital and The George Centre in Gledswood Hills.
