Dr Eu Jern Tan

Dr Eu Jern Tan is a dedicated Specialist General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care to patients in Canberra and the surrounding region. Dr Tan completed his medical education at the Australian National University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Prior to his medical degree, he also earned a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours and a Master of Philosophy. He completed his initial internship and residency training within a major metropolitan hospital network before undertaking specialty General Practice training across various rural towns in New South Wales. Dr Tan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and actively pursues ongoing postgraduate education, particularly in the field of skin cancer medicine and surgery.

In his daily practice, Dr Tan offers a wide range of clinical services with a strong emphasis on preventative health and minor surgical procedures. He has a particular interest in skin cancer medicine, providing thorough full-body skin checks using dermoscopy, photographic monitoring of suspicious lesions, and performing on-site biopsies and excisions. Additionally, his clinical focus extends to workplace injury management, cardiovascular risk assessments, cancer screenings, immunisations, and lifestyle counselling. He is also experienced in providing acute care assessments for sudden illnesses or infections, as well as conducting commercial driver's licence medical examinations.
