Dr Elizabeth Garoni

Dr Elizabeth Garoni is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Known warmly to many as Dr Libby Garoni, she brings a wealth of clinical knowledge and a reassuring, holistic approach to her practice. Having grown up in a rural community, she possesses a profound understanding of the unique healthcare needs of regional families, fostering strong, trusting relationships with patients of all ages.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Garoni specialises in family medicine, with a particular focus on women's and children's health. Her clinical background includes dedicated work in Paediatrics, allowing her to offer expert guidance on childhood development and paediatric illnesses. Additionally, her advanced training in obstetrics and gynaecology enables her to provide comprehensive support for women throughout various stages of life, from family planning and antenatal care to menopause management.

Dr Garoni completed her medical training at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1992. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG). Beyond her clinical practice, she is highly regarded for her contributions to medical education, actively supervising and mentoring the next generation of General Practitioners, a role for which she has received formal recognition from GP Supervisors Australia (GPSA).
