Dr Derrick Soh is a clinical neurophysiologist specialising in movement disorders, neurophysiology, and headache. He works at Alfred Health, Wollongong Private Hospital and Neurology Network Melbourne, where he consults from St Kilda Road and Box Hill. Dr Soh focuses on the use of nerve conduction studies and electromyography to clinically assess his patients, and he also treats patients using deep brain stimulation and infusion therapies.
Dr Soh was awarded his medical degree in 2007 from the University of Southampton before going on to complete higher training in Sydney at St George Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. He then undertook a fellowship in neurophysiology and has recently completed another fellowship at the renowned Morton and Gloria Shulman Movement Disorders Centre.
Dr Soh is widely published in the field and has presented his work nationally and internationally. He was also the winner of the Dr George Wilson Memorial Prize in 2014. He also currently lectures at both the University of New South Wales and the University of Wollongong.
