Dr Deborah Martin

Dr Deborah Martin is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare services to patients in Echuca and its surrounding regions. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality medical care across all stages of life. As a General Practitioner, Dr Martin focuses on preventative health, chronic disease management, and fostering long-term relationships with her patients to support their overall well-being.

Dr Martin completed her medical education at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2003. To further her expertise in rural medicine and specialised care, she obtained several postgraduate qualifications. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow of Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP). Additionally, she holds an Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG (ADV)), reflecting her advanced training in maternal health.

In her clinical practice, Dr Martin has developed a strong interest in women's and children's health. She is particularly passionate about providing comprehensive antenatal, labour, and postnatal care, supporting mothers and their families through every step of the pregnancy journey. Her expertise also extends to breastfeeding medicine, paediatric care, and addressing baby sleep and settling challenges.
