Dr. David Wilson

Dr David Wilson is a Neurosurgeon practising at Prince of Wales Private Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, with clinical expertise in the management of conditions affecting the brain, spine and peripheral nerves. His practice encompasses both complex spinal and cranial neurosurgery, with particular interests in spinal degeneration, spinal tumours and trauma, as well as brain tumour and epilepsy surgery.

Dr Wilson completed his neurosurgical training across leading hospitals in Sydney and Brisbane, developing broad experience in the assessment and surgical management of a range of neurological and spinal conditions. He further advanced his specialist expertise in 2022 by completing a Spinal Trauma and Complex Spinal Fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital. This fellowship provided additional training in the management of spinal deformity, traumatic spinal injuries and spinal oncology, strengthening his experience in treating complex spinal conditions.

His clinical approach encompasses the careful assessment of each patient’s condition and the consideration of appropriate surgical management for complex neurosurgical disorders. His areas of interest include degenerative spinal disease, spinal and brain tumours, traumatic injuries and epilepsy surgery.

Dr Wilson is committed to ongoing professional development and is a member of several medical organisations, including the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia and the Australian Medical Association.
