Dr David John Holt

Dr David John Holt is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a diverse professional background that spans both aviation and medicine, he brings a unique perspective to his clinical practice. Dr Holt is committed to delivering reassuring, high-quality healthcare tailored to the individual needs of his patients, ensuring they feel supported at every stage of their health journey.

Dr Holt obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Honours from Flinders University in South Australia. Prior to his medical studies, he completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Aeronautical) with Honours at the University of Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Dr Holt also served in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), initially as a Pilot and subsequently as a Doctor, which provided him with extensive experience in high-pressure environments.

Throughout his medical career, Dr Holt has developed a broad range of clinical interests within General Practice. He has undertaken advanced training in Aviation Medicine at the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine, as well as specialised training in Underwater and Diving Medicine. This expertise qualifies him to perform comprehensive Aviation Medicals and Diving Medicals for both recreational and commercial divers. In addition to these niche areas, Dr Holt is highly focused on Men's Health, Veteran's Health, and Occupational Health, offering a holistic approach to preventative care and wellness.
