Originally from Western Australia, he relocated to Tasmania to continue his medical career. Dr Patrick Kirk is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, ensuring that individuals and families receive the support and guidance they need to maintain optimal health and well-being.

Before transitioning to General Practice, Dr Patrick Kirk gained extensive experience working in tertiary-level Intensive Care and Acute Critical Care Medicine. This robust clinical background has equipped him with advanced skills in managing acute medical conditions and urgent healthcare needs. In addition to his clinical work, he has contributed to the medical community by teaching Acute Care Medicine at the University of Tasmania, sharing his expertise with the next generation of Healthcare Professionals.

Dr Patrick Kirk completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia. He holds advanced certifications in emergency and paediatric care, including Advanced Life Support (ALS2) and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS). His clinical interests are diverse, with a particular focus on oncology, lifestyle medicine, and paediatrics, allowing him to offer well-rounded and evidence-based care to patients of all ages.

Outside of his professional duties as a General Practitioner, Dr Patrick Kirk enjoys leading an active lifestyle. He values spending quality time with his family and is an avid runner and cricket player.
